MORULENG SOCCER STADIUM
Moruleng Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in the village of Lesetlheng, a small mining community located approximately 60 kilometers from Rustenburg in the North West Province, South Africa. It is currently used mostly for football matches and serves as the home stadium of Platinum Stars.
The 20 000 seat stadium became known nationally soon after completion, when it served as a training ground for teams competing in the 2009 FIFA Confederation Cup, 2010 World Cup and AFCON 2013. Moruleng Stadium created approximately 150 jobs for locals during the construction phases.
