China Cash and Carry Apartments is an 8 story residential development, currently being constructed within the China Cash and Carry mixed use development, located in crown mines, Johannesburg
The 2 8 storey apartment buildings will collectively comprise of 96, 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit, 28 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom units. A structural steel frame, and pre-stressed hollow core slabs has been selected for the construction of the buildings.
This construction method was primarily to eliminate the curing time of cast. In – Situ concrete structure used in the more conventional methods of construction.
